Blog Post day #17

It has been almost 3 weeks and still no poker money coming in. Sent in forms about 2 hours ago and ate a good meal from the chef.  Hated plantains(the big banana looking things) or whatever they are called.

Speaking of food lets do a little review of fruits here:
There are thousands it seems of markets on the side of the road all should be safe and excited for your business if not go to the next one.  They all sell good fruits and vegetables too. If not go to the next one. HA
So pineapples are obviously good here and all over. And the bananas are obviously good but hard to find good ones and they don't keep very long.  3-5 days.
So I started off trying a fruit I have never had called Mangosteens:

 This is a quick treat it tastes like peach with vanilla ice cream and a dash of mango.

After that I tried this little treat:

The "Mamon Chino", also known as “Rambutan”, is a colorful and interesting exotic fruit found on medium-sized tropical trees producing one of the most popular convenience snacks found in Costa Rica.
Oh wait I stole that off a website but you crack it open with your fingers or teeth and there's a grape like thing inside that you can suck on like a jolly rancher. Lasts a while I prefer them a tad unripe and sour. which those are more yellowish normally.
